Eyes: Goldmine and Carbon

Hello my loves!
You can never go wrong with goldmine and carbon e/s by Mac. If I am feeling very indecisive I pair these two eyeshadows and end up with a great look for the night. Of course matching your e/s with your clothes takes the attention off your eyes and the focus is on your makeup, so colour coordinating can be quite annoying. We use makeup to enhance our eye's not to emphasize that our makeup is on our face! I found that these two eyeshadow were really a "look saver". A nice grey/black smokey eye can also be a "go to " look when you are out of options. Hope you ladies have enjoyed this look
and your feedback means so much so let me know what you think!

Eyes: Primed with Panterly Paintpot by Mac, Goldmine e/s all over the lid
and using a fluffy e/s brush I used carbon in my outer V. If you want to intensify the
eyes for a more dramatic look just keep adding carbon and blending the outer V. Line with a carbon/black eyeliner, curl those lashes to lift the eye, apply mascara and falsies. This is optional but will definitely bring out the eyes.

Cheeks: I used my favorite Lorac blush Duo in hot and Spicy. I love the highlight colour that comes with the duo and I also use the blush. I also contoured with a contour colour, use something that has no shimmer in it. This will bring out those cheek bones.

Lips: I used young thing lip gloss by Mac to keep it nude.

Hope you enjoyed this look :).

Versatile Products! Beauty Secrets Revealed.

Hello Ladies!

Hope everyone is feeling beautiful today. When I was reading through makeup blogs and beauty magazines I realized that the majority of artists stick to one product for one particular use. Why not make your cosmetics more versatile? This will save you from burning cash and also every girl wants a compact light weight makeup bag! I am going to share some secrets with you that will help to use one product for various other things.

Let's Start off with Pigments!
Who ever said that pigments were only for the eyes? When I use pigments that have a nude shimmer like naked pigment or even vanilla pigment I place this pigment as a highlight on the bridge of my nose, or on my upper cheekbone. This brightens the face and also helps the face appear more symmetrical!
Also, another tip for some sex appeal is dusting a bit right about your lip and on the centre of the lip for a nice pout!
How about eyeshadow?
As we all know eyeshadow is supposed to be applied on your eyes? Well, how about we use to set our lipstick with a similar colour eyeshadow that will allow that lipstick to stay on for a pro-long wear? Why go out and purchase lip products that have a 12 hr wear when you have eyeshadow to set your lipstick!
In most of my makeup looks where I am wearing a pink/peach lipstick the reason why it appears so vibrant is because I lightly apply eyeshadow on top of it. Shhhh!

And as for lipstick?
Yes, we all apply lipstick all over the lips and that's it. Who would assume there is another use for it. However, I applied some of my lightly ripe lipstick, sanitized of course, using my ring finger on my cheeks and it worked as perfectly as any creme blush? If there are any other lipsticks that you wished had come in a great blush colour instead why not sanitize and apply? Benefit also has a great lip/cheek stain that is a great versatile buy!

Hope these tricks help out each and everyone of you and watch out for other great tips.

NYC: Times Square

The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return.

OPI: Heart Throb

Such a Beautiful Baby Pink Polish!
I had to share with you guys,
lately I have been attracted to subtle colours and heart throb
gives off such a pretty look.

Have a great one :) .

Eyes: BlueBrown Pigment

Hello Ladies, hope everyone is doing well! I received a sample of Mac's Blue Brown Pigment in a swap awhile ago and never got around to doing a look with it. So I decided to give it a try :).

So for the eyes I concentrated Mac BlueBrown Pigment more in the centre, I did not want to place
it all over the lid just to avoid looking like a disco ball. I added Go eyeshadow with a soft fluffy e/s brush to the outer corner and blended out the BlueBrown. This also softens the harshness of the pigment. Add a highlight close to your skin colour and voila ;) To complete, use your blackest eyeliner and mascara.

Lips: I used Semi-Annual which is a nude lipstick by Mac that has a slight pink undertone.

What do you guys think ?
Thank you so Much for stopping by.

University Cultural Formal Look

Hello Ladies, I really missed blogging and I am glad to be back. So, a little update on my life...
I was bombarded with exams and now that it is my reading week I want to do as many different looks as possible. I feel like I am so preoccupied with other things that I really need to get
that passion for makeup back in my system. So, after exams I celebrated with some friends by going
to a University Cultural Formal.

I am really in love with peacock colours, my Saree had a nice royal blue with some peacock
green designs along the halter piece of my blouse. I just love wearing Sarees since you hardly get
to wear them unless a random event or wedding takes place. Enjoy and let me now what
you guys think.

Eyes: I used Mac's Corn flower pigment, a peacock green from my 96 Palette and also rice paper by Mac for highlight.

Hope Everyone is Having a Wonderful Sunday!!
Thank you for stopping by.
xoxo

EOTD: PINK

Hello Ladies, Hope everyone is wonderful! So, as we all know valentine's day is right around the corner. Everywhere we go all you see is cinnamon hearts, teddy bears and heart melting love poems. What's better to start off February than a Valentine Day makeup look?

I Started off by Priming the lids with Mac's Painterly Paint pot.
For the inner corners I used Mac's Chill e/s.
Using bright colours on the inner corner like Chill will make the eye's really stand out.
In the centre of the eye lid I used Sunset B e/s by MAC.
On the outer Corner I blended out with some Passionate e/s.
Line your lids with your favourite black eyeliner.
Layer a couple of coats of your blackest mascara,
and you are date ready!
Good luck On trying out this makeup look for
your special someone :).

Watch out for more Valentine's Day Makeup Looks.
Thanks for stopping by Ladies and Stay POSH ;).
